One Faith. One People. One Study.
There are over 15 Bible Studies that meet each Sunday morning (9:45-10:45) in both the newer Ogletown Exchange (E) and the older Main Building (M).. Some are larger (30+ people), while others provide more personal interaction (less than 5). These Sunday Bible Studies offer a diversity of Bible study topics and methods, year-round.

A welcoming place to take your next steps in your walk of faith here at OBC. This fall we’ll be studying 50 core truths of the Christian faith. We want to not only learn God’s truth but live life in its light and goodness.
VERSE BY VERSE: Patrick Fieger & Wayne Marsh • Room: E118 • Type: All Adults
This class offers a verse-by-verse study of God’s Word, typically covering just a few verses each week. All ages are welcome—but be sure to bring your Bibles; God’s Word will be our study guide. This fall, we will be studying the Gospel of John.
GENERATIONS: Jim Eliason • Room: E224 • Type: All Adults
This class is for those who desire to know God’s Word and live it out daily in a troubled world. The goal of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. (I Timothy 1:5) “Therefore we will always remind you about these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth you have.” (II Peter 1:12) This fall, we are studying the letter to the Ephesians.
STROLLING THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES: John Mason • Room: E213 • Type: All Adults
This diverse and interactive class studies through books of the Bible using a verse-by-verse and gospel-centered approach. Come build your understanding of Scripture, your dependence on Christ, and your relationships with others. This fall, we’ll finish up a study on Ruth and move into Ephesians.
ONTRACK: Jeff Geshay & Matt Hall • Room: E218 • Type: All Adults
On Track is an interactive class specifically designed to help everyone who desires to do a better job of getting into the word of God on a daily basis. The class stays “on track” with a road map of daily Bible Reading. The class encourages reading the Bible on a daily basis, and then when we come to class we talk about what we read! Lively fun interaction in a warm multi-generational family atmosphere. This fall, we are spending time in the Gospels of Matthew and Mark.
CHRIST FOLLOWERS: Lisa Harmon • Room: E207 • Type: All Adults
Adults of all ages engage in facilitated, guided discussion. Our goal is to grow in the knowledge of God and as a community of Christ as we support each other in prayer and encourage each other and the church. This fall, we will continue working through Genesis.
GENERAL STUDIES: Jim Manning • Room: E223 • Type: All Adults
Welcoming all ages, this interactive class uses a verse-by-verse or thematic study of Scripture to develop a Christian worldview. For the fall, we will be finishing up the Gospel of Mark and then working through The Red Sea Rules by Robert Morgan.
GREENROOM: Charlie & Allie Roland; Dave & Jen Manley • Room: E212 • Type: College Age
Our class is designed for college-aged students with the purpose of equipping and training them for life by understanding the gospel, reading Scripture, and developing a biblical worldview. This fall, we will be going through the book of Hebrews.
INTERNATIONAL CLASS: Angela Stonkus & Brady Smith • Room: E221 • Type: International Students
For any who are interested in understanding what Christianity and the Bible are about. This class is especially for people who have English as their second language. This fall, we’re working with the question: “Who is God and how can we know Him?”
ROSEBUDS: Bud Robeson • Room: M115 • Type: 70+
For men and women over 70, this encouraging class studies and discusses books of the Bible in order to determine what is God’s will and how to live it out in life. The biblical book for this fall is Romans.
WOMEN OF FAITH: Bette Mitchell & Lois Robeson • Room: M113 • Type: Women (50+)
Women, usually over the age of 50, meet together for friendly and caring fellowship and to grow in their faith. Each week offers an interactive study of a book of the Bible. This study will be working through Growing Older & Wiser by Dale and Sandy Larsen for the fall.
SINGLES (35+): Larry Jester • Room: M114 • Type: Singles (35+)
This discussion-based class seeks to increase students’ understanding and application of Scripture. This friendly and prayerful class aims both to provide supportive, caring relationships within the class and also to encourage ministry to others outside the class. This class is going through The Gospel Project, and will be studying 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, and 1 & 2 Chronicles this fall.
CHANGING LIVES THROUGH GOD'S WORD: Pat Hopkins • Room: M117 • Type: Women
For women who are either new Christians or those who just enjoy smaller groups, this caring class seeks to help women grow in their understanding of the Bible and of God’s love for them. We will be finishing up the book of Genesis and moving into Revelation this fall.
BEREAN CLASS: Ed Palsgrove • Room: E211 • Type: 50+
Men and women over the age of 50 gather each week for a friendly, guided discussion of a portion of God’s Word. This class emphasizes understanding what Scripture teaches and learning how to practically apply it to life. We’re studying Ecclesiastes and Sayings of Jesus for the fall.
ACCESSING THE WORD: Willy Ho, David Broadwater, & John Stonkus, Jr. • Room: E209 • Type: Special Needs
All are welcome to this fun class aimed to serve people with special needs. The goal of this class is to reveal the great God of the Bible and to apply that truth to everyday life. Our study this fall will be about stories from 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, and 1 & 2 Chronicles about Kings David and Solomon.
