Retreat Info
We are excited to get to retreat together at the Chesapeake Bay this spring (April 24-25). We are planning yummy meals, fun activities, and looking forward to spending time together as women of Ogletown (or friends & neighbors!) learning and growing in Cultivating Connection.
In a world where loneliness, isolation, and false connection is rampant, we all desire to connect with others and feel known. Connection is hard and takes work even when it feels like it shouldn’t. We can question God’s nearness at times, especially when we are in the trenches of a difficult season, when doubt creeps in, when busyness has a tight grip on our schedules, or when sin plagues our hearts. How do we cultivate connection with God and with others? 2 Corinthians 13:14 reminds us that He is with us.
Together, we will explore our connection with each person of the trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In each session, we will see how He connects with us, how He reveals more of Himself, and how He meets us no matter what season of life we are in. We are charged to learn from His example as we cultivate connections with others. God designed us for connection. We are not meant to be alone and we see this so evidently in the trinity.
Our speakers for the retreat will be Lauren Crossley, Mikaela Sands, and Shelley Pritt.
